All About Me
I was born in Mexico to both Mexican parents and therefore learned to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish, which I am very thankful for. I grew up in Olive Branch and I currently live in Hernando with my husband and our 2 furr babies. We have been married for seven years and we have no children yet. We do have a seven-year-old Yorkie and a four-year-old Rat Terrier. We travel to Senatobia at least 3xs a week for our Bible education meetings and other spiritual activities, which we consider of upmost importance.
I love dancing, traveling, chocolate, flowers, and preschool babies!!!
I grew up in Olive Branch where I attended school K-12. I currently have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an endorsement to teach special education K12
I began working with children when I was a junior in high school. I was in the Child Development Vo-tech program at the DeSoto County career center. After high school, I immediately began working at a daycare center and that was where I began my experience as an educator. At the age of 18, I became a preschool teacher's assistant for the Head Start program, where I spent 5 years. In September of 2013 I left Head Start and began working with DCS. I spent that year working as a first grade assistant, and even though it was a great experience, I knew I needed to be back with preschool. The following year, I was a preschool special education assistant for a semester and in January of 2014 I came to Greenbrook and began my first year as a teacher.
I have over eleven years of experience with children and this is my fifth full school year as a teacher.
